I have noticed that if I leave this site up in Firefox (45.0), my computer slows down to the point of being unusable. System monitor shows CPU, memory and swap usage growing to max. This happens on 2 computers. It does not happen with Windows 7. http://www.theweathernetwork.com/ca/alerts/high-alert/ontario/toronto?ref=ho... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I use the Firefox that's provided by openSUSE, with the latest updates. Flash is installed and also updated. Adblocker Plus 2.7.2 is also installed. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

This exact thing happened yesterday for me at a completely different website and "plugin-container" (Flash) was the culprit. The page lots of ads with animations and two or three embedded advertising videos. Well, I routinely block flash on all sites. I have to manually click on the particular animation I want to see. Quite often they take a lot of CPU. But the site above doesn't use Flash that I can see. I have the page open and load has not incremented yet. That is, not more than it already was. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. R.
