My current box is a K7 950Mhz used for development. Opensuse 10 runs quite well and is VERY stable. Only complaint is that it's almost as thick as XP . . .

I've been using nothing but AMD chips for as long as I can remember. K6, then K7, and a turion for the laptop now. Never had a complaint on any one of them as far as the chip goes. I also only use Tyan Motherboards with them, and I think that's a plus.
