I have a general question. I have personal 8.0 installed and would like to try the apache web server provided in the professional version. What files do i need and where are the packages located? Is there a GUI? Also I am unable to find any documentation on this. Thanks in advance Tom Nuzum NVAR Computer Technology Coordinator 703.207.3228

ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/8.0/ */apache*i386.rpm */mod_php4*i386.rpm ( if you want php functionality ) */openldap2*i386.rpm ( dependency for php4 ) That should cover it. Use "rpm -ihv *.rpm" If you get unresolved dependencies, check for more files in the same place. The default htdocs directory is placed in /usr/local/httpd/htdocs -tosi
you are probably also gonna need the ucdsnmp package and the xshared package (the last you should already have installed if you are running X) On Monday 22 July 2002 09:26 am, you wrote:
