Hi David,
I know that it is late but better late than newer. Note that if you do not get response on mailing list, it is better to report the problem into bugzilla...

Yep Petr, it's still staring me in the face. Just to be sure. Are the other icon themes listed the Tools -> Options -> View dialog or do you see there just the highcontrast icon theme?

Yep Petr, it's still staring me in the face. See:

Heh, your whole desktop is very dark. I found that OOo might autodetect the highcontrast mode. Does it help you to disable the check box "Tools/Options/OpenOfifce.org/Accessibility/Automatically detect high contrast mode of operating system"?

The list of packages look good. I hope that the problem is the autodetection. -- Best Regards, Petr Mladek software developer --------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s. r. o. e-mail: pmladek@suse.cz Lihovarská 1060/12 tel: +420 284 028 952 190 00 Prague 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Petr, All of the icons are there in the list, but no matter which I select, nothing changes on the interface. Here's the list: http://www.3111skyline.com/dl/bugs/oo/oo-IconsAllThere.jpg

Wohoo! That fixed it. Not in a million years would I have thought that disabling something under Accessibility would allow the icons to change. You nailed that one! I'll bet since I use a dark theme, that is tripping the high-contrast setting to always show the high-contrast icons. That needs fixing. Here is a screenshot of the color scheme I use with OO in kde3 (looks the same everywhere due to gnome-settings-daemon): http://www.3111skyline.com/dl/bugs/oo/oo-Theme-IconsFixed.jpg Thanks Petr, you need a raise, more vacation and a corner office! I agree that it is a bug. It should be possible to force another icon theme from the "Tools/Options.../OpenOffice.org/View" dialog. The highcontrast theme should be just preferred. Could you please report it into bugzilla?
