hello, I'm trying to install freeswan on suse 8.1 but I keep getting an error saying KLIPS isn't working: Checking your system to see if IPsec was installed and started correctly Version check and ipsec on-path [OK] Checking for KLIPS support in kernel [FAILED] Checking for RSA private key (/etc/ipsec.secrets) [OK] Checking that pluto is running [OK] DNS checks. Looking for forward key for linux [FAILED] Does the machine have at least one non-private address [OK] linux:~ # I installed the freeswan package from the CD's, it says it includes the KLIPS support. I installed this about a year ago on another machine, I recall it was very easy...just loading 2 or 3 packages and it started working. I looked on the suse support site but couldn't find anything with the keywords vpn, freeswan or klips. Does anyone recall what is the procedure for getting this to work using the CD packages?
