[opensuse] CUPS incompatibility
lpq on a client running cups-client-1.7.5 (oS Leap 42.1) connecting to cups-1.5.4 (oS 13.2) aborts with the error message: lpq: Error - add '/version=1.1' to server name. If a add the version string in client.conf, the error remains. Another client on oS 13.2 connects to the server normally. Any ideas? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Thanks. However, it appears that the error message is misleading, since it disappeared when I replaced the FQDN with the host name of the server in client.conf (!) -- Regards, Peter -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
