Dear OpenSuse Team, I'm testing OpenSuse 11.3 x86_64 for use as XEN-Server. What i found out is a problem with the script which starts the network-bride. You can find the file <d112-64> in th attachment. loop1 in this file has bin defined as follows: losetup /dev/loop1 /var/lib/xen/images/test1/d112-64.iso This file contains an image of an OpenSuse 11.1 i586 system. Next test I made, was to install it new, under another name, with Yast. The Result was the same I've made three screenshots, but they are too big for the mailinglist and have ben rejected. The config file, wich has been created is file <OS11-2-i586> in the attachement. After doing an reboot of the xen-server I deleted the line with the vif=[ 'mac=00:16:3e:2b:c8:c6,bridge=br0', ] definition and tried to start the virtual machien new: xen-13:/etc/xen/vm # xm create d112-64 Using config file "./d112-64".
