Win-Media Player replacement?
What would the replacemnet for Windows Media Player be?? I am looking for something that will play the *.asf streaming audio and I thought there was something in 9Pro that did. Now, I cannot seem to find it. ...CH

Can only agree on that too. And once there was a version for windows on their ftp-site can't find it right now though. Have a look here: http://mplayer.sunset-utopia.homeip.net/disabled.php Johan Mandag 26 januar 2004 06:22 skrev Michael Yartsev:

Is this a stand-alone for SuSE? I was on Pacman's site, earlier, & it seems
that there were many pkgs required in addition to MPlayer. I d/l them all
and none of them would install. All but MPlaye gave KEY errors. MPlayer,
itself, seemed to not be an RPM though it had that extension. :-\

For SuSE the "collection" at the packman site will do perfect. Hint: Find the /etc/MPlayer/mplayer.conf file and edit it (as root) Find the line # gui= yes and remove the "#" sign try <ALT> + <F2> type mplayer and se if it starts. Johan Tirsdag 27 januar 2004 03:58 skrev C Hamel:
