Have you checked ~/.mplayer/mplayerplugin-conf?

If rtsp-use-http=1, the mplayer will not play stream. Yes, you must set it "rtsp-use-http=0".

Thank you for the tip, but still does not work. The only difference is the long time to try connect to the server before it stops. I tried to experiment with the settings (right click in the plugin window), but obviously did not find the right configuration. Regards
