Tonight I ran in a strange problem. I have recently upgraded to 7.3 with a fresh install. Only my settings remained same because they were in my home page. I wanted to download the latest xawtv and such from the suse kraxel site. The site showed fine. I used Opera 6.0 and after clicking on the xawtv rpm file it proceeded with a new page with the complete rpm. No questions asked what I wanted to do with the file. It was just treated as an normal webpage. Thinking it was a flaw with Opera, I changed to Konquerer. With Konquerer, the same happened, only this time the data were also downloaded in the temporary my home kde2 konquerer directory. That was at least an advantage because I would after downloading the other rpm's at least have them under a temporay name I thought. I would have to recognize them on their size but so what. After the downloading, I discovered though that nothing useful could be found in the temp directory. Did I something wrong with the new instalation of 7.3 or is the sight not reacting as it should be? Somebody with ideas?
