Hi everyone. Switching from KDE to the text console and then back again loses my mouse cursor. I've tried rcxdm restart, dropping down to 2 then back to 5. . . The only way I can get the mouse back is by rebooting. I feel like a windoze user! Can anyone help me out of this embarrassing situation? OpenSuSE 10.1 x86-64 with nVidia 6100 Cheers and TIA Steve.

I have seen mouse support in a text console, gpm, cause this. Try in the text console, just before returning to X, rcgpm restart or rcgpm stop or, perhaps from X in xterm as root. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2

Tried that but I'm not running gpm. Steve.
