[opensuse] sysVinit ?
Is sysvinit still going to be available in the next release of opensuse? If so, when is it expected to go away? Thanks Mark -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

At least next release we'll still have sysvinit because systemd support is still quite unstable even for usual use cases and moreover often unsuitable for advanced setups. Hopefully it will not go away at all. cu, Rudi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

That has not been determined yet.. now udev and systemd have merged in a single project so you *may* need systemd installed but not "running".. sysvinit will stay working though, unless we decide to axe it. (thing I hope we can do ASAP) Cheers. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
