Try istanbul .... Istanbul is a desktop session recorder. You can use it to record your desktop session and then play it back for demos, tutorials and presentations. Sessions are recorded to ogg theora files for later playback. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Are there 2 questions in what you ask: one to do with screen capture and the second to do with capturing video/audio streams? For screen capture you have KSnapshot which you will find in the Software Management listing. I use it. If you are using Firefox then you have the Add-on called 'Pixlr Grabber', which I also use. Re the video/audio, and you are using Firefox, you have 'DownloadHelper'. The files captured by DH are playable on vlc, xine, etc. BC -- Using openSUSE 12.1 x86_64 KDE 4.8.3 and kernel 3.3.6 on a system with- AMD FX 8-core 3.6/4.2GHz processor 16GB PC14900/1866MHz Quad Channel Corsair "Vengeance" RAM Gigabyte AMD3+ m/board; Gigabyte nVidia GTX550Ti 1GB DDR5 GPU -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
