Good day, I know this may not be the place, but I have found Slashdot to be one of the worst places of information or news for anyone. Especially for Linux newbies... Unfortuantly I see a lot of mis-information or mis-understanding on there. My question is: What do people use for news concerning Tech news that is accurate? I know I use newsforge and linuxtoday, is there anymore? During the last US election, Slashdot posted political mis-information. When challenged privately via email I was told they were only trying to be funny. It did make me wonder how truthful the linux information was, or were they trying to be funny with that as well. I found linux today the best site for linux news, I still occassionally vist slashdot, but not as oftern as before, on the other hand I check out "Linux Today" on a regular basis. joe
I fully agree with Joe with his choice of "Linux Today" and you can get it automatically by subscribing to the site, an also excellent source in the UK is "The Register". News not BS and so called wit. John Skinner SuSE User #151565 & Linux Counter 105133
