Samba - can't get help on samba list
Greetings, I don't get an answer from the samba list would some here mind helping me with my logon profile, I am running a PDC setup, and want roaming profiles: What I want is the winprofile to be in /home/%U/winprofile and I want /home/netlogon/logon.bat to execute when the user (%U) logons to the domain. But this doesn't happen, its puts the winprofile in the /home/%U folder instead and doesn't read the logon.bat at all: here is my global, netlogon and profile section of smb.conf, what must I change to get it to work? Should I rather put the logon.bat script somewhere else? Hello Chadley... What clients are you using to login to domain? Windows handles different clients differently and Samba imitates that behavior. My guess is you've setup the parameters for the wrong client type... Jerry
