[S.u.S.E. Linux] RPM problem
Hi guys, This is a problem I have encountered on SuSE and other distributions, but I have never really understood what it means. I picked up an RPM for "cooledit" just to have a look. I did an RPM install via YaST and all went well. BUT, when I try to execute cooledit I get a message as follows : /usr/bin/cooledit: no such file or directory So I have a look, it's there! I try /usr/bin/cooledit : same result!! The file has the right permissions etc. I ran SuSEconfig. Any ideas?? Since I use vim-5.0 for all my editing anyway this is not a major problem, but I would like to know what is happening for future reference.
