use the esssolo1.o module. I would also like to know the resources NT uses, but (having no Windows/NT experience) I have not been able to find these (often I get 'default' when I ask for certain settings). Any help is appreciated.
IIRC the information you're looking for should be in the Control Panel (don't know if that's the correct name, in German it's `Systemsteuerung'). Double click the multimedia icon.
And there is the system analysis thing, tells you used ioports, irq's, dma's. Again I could find it only in the german version. ;-( [snip]

In NT I think you're looking for "winmsd". (WINdows MicroSoft Diagnostics) In Dos days it was just MSD, but you know how they like to rename things. -Andrew -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
for the sound card ressources in NT have a look in ( sorry I've got the French version here at work, but trying to push Linux in and NT out) panneau de configuration (control panel ?) -> multimedia (idem ?) -> peripheriques (devices ?) double clic on the device for each device the irq, dma and other are listed in 'configuration' hope it helps to go to Suse ! ;-) for those lucky guys wo can choose the OS at work !
