Im looking to install (not bought yet a couple of ADMtek AN983 10/100 PCI netcards into a suse 9.2 box. It seems to compatible with Linux and the tulip driver (whatever that is) the suse hardware db has no mention of such a card, mfr etc So can anybody here tell me what it might be called, and whether suse will pick it up I'd rather ask the question now rather than find out it does not work. Card features 10/100M Fast Auto-Negotiation Ethernet PCI Card, 32bit PCI bus unit Complies with IEEE802.3, 100BASE-TX, IEEE802.3u 10BASE-T, stands Supports Half/Full-duplex flow control Support ACPI, supply PCI power management fuction to operation system with OSPM function PCI 2.2 plug & play The hardware db is telling me nothing exists. Anybody have any experiences with this card on the list ? Thanks

I have an older Dell box, and my network card under hardware is listed as: Davicom 21X4X DEC-Tulip compatible 10/100 Ethernet worked right out of the box, I didn't have to set it up. -- Paul Cartwright Registered Linux user # 367800
