Hi, I have recently set my server to allow for ftp connections in order for files to be ftp'd to other machines. When I try and make a connection it states how only anonymous ftp will work and that doesn't allow me to file transfer. How can I make it so I can log in with my username and passwrod and gain access to the system to copy these files?? Thanx in advance DB

1. Which ftp server are you using? 2. Is this over the internet or on an internal LAN? If it's over the internet, you should consider using sftp instead, since regular ftp is all plain text, and you don't want to send passwords in plain text over the net. Look at the thread "ftp server how?" from yesterday
