[opensuse] Keyboard Repeat Rate
How do I increase the keyboard repeat rate? It is currently set at 50.0/s and that is the maximum Yast allows me to go. Can I increase it further? If yes, how? If no, is there a script that I can run on startup which sort of links the mouse to a hotkey or something? For instance, I had this AutoHotkey script in my Windows version which really increased my hotkey repeat rate. It was: F8:: MouseClick, Left Just that and the hotkey just fired up. KDE or Gnome? You can control this with the control panel of KDE. (configure desktop (personal settings) peripheals keyboard Or if all else fails type man kbdrate in a shell However any setting via kbdrate will be overridden by kde if that is what you are using. -- _____________________________________ John Andersen -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
