I was trying some of the mod players that come with SuSE 5.2 today, and they all told me they couldn't open /dev/sequencer. I find that odd since I have sound in everything from games to mp3s to cd to midi, which I believe midi uses /dev/sequencer if I'm not mistaken. Any nudge in the right direction would be appreciated.
