Re: [opensuse] Mail Sending Error
But did you actually call your ISP for help with the problem? You may need to be persistent to get above the bottom-feeders who likely know nothing about such things. John Perry No, I haven't done that. I started having this problem in Dubai on this trip, and it has continued in Singapore and here where I am at in Japan at this moment. I knew by common sense that it had something to do with hackers who commonly use international domiciles as their base for hacking. I just wondered if there was an easy way around this to keep using Thunderbird. What I do is to go to the website of my ISP, log in, and then send mail out from the website. It just isn't as convenient as thunderbird, so I was trying to figure a way around this. If I call the ISP I will do it when I get back from the business trip I am on. To be quite honest, there is not much common sense in that, Mark.

When people travel a lot, they quite often use a VPN solution or a roaming service such as iPass. Many ISPs are already members of iPass, and the iPass service is often part of the standard subscription. /Per -- /Per Jessen, Zürich -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
