Which repositories should I use?
I have two machines that I'm getting ready to upgrade. The repository definitions on one are of the form | http://cdn.opensuse.org/.../leap/15.5/... and on the other, of the form | http://download.opensuse.org/.../leap/$releasever/... Which are the preferred repositories that I should use? Leslie -- Platform: Linux Distribution: openSUSE Leap 15.5 - x86_64

IME the latter manages to be more reliable for USA, less likely to provide a slow repo nearby than a faster farther away. With CDN, the biggest files somehow seem to always come from the slowest repos, .isos especially. :p -- Evolution as taught in public schools is, like religion, based on faith, not based on science. Okay. I don't remember ever seeing anything about the introduction of the CDN repositories; their purpose, whether they are meant to eventually replace the download ones, or will remain a parallel set of repositories? Leslie -- Platform: Linux Distribution: openSUSE Leap 15.5 - x86_64

I suspect if you search the support and/or factory mailing list archives you'll find them explained. -- Evolution as taught in public schools is, like religion, based on faith, not based on science. Team OS/2 ** Reg. Linux User #211409 ** a11y rocks! Felix Miata
