How to use the DVD and CD installation media interchangeable

Is it possible to install SuSE from the DVD and than use the CD's when installing programs later on. I some times only has the CD's with me, and at other times only the DVD. It would be nice if it was possible to just put in whatever media I has available. As far as I remember on earlier 6.x versions I could do this without any problem. Today I have started to install SuSE 8.2, but this version to, also has problems doing this. Any suggestions. ------------------------------------------------- Thanks in advance Bo Jacobsen
