I tried and retried compiling the kernel with the sound options for my SB AWE64. Yesterday, I finally tried OSS and found how easy it was!!! Well, at least I know how to compile my kernel now! Anyway, when I was playing a CD using the CD player that accompanied KDE, I noticed that the sound seems to be mostly coming out of the right speaker. You can barely hear the sound on the left speaker. The sound is coming out, but it's very faint. It works fine in Windows. Has anyone else had problems with sound coming out of just one side? And yes, I've checked the balace of the volume. It's kinda odd, considering if you have just a mono connection, the sounds are supposed come out of only the LEFT one...
