[SLE] bash: (whatever): command not found
After upgrading from 6.1 to 6.3, I see this message a lot, whether I'm attempting to run a command under my normal id or as root. No, I don't have the local directory included in my path, and my path (from echo $PATH) looks the same as one from a machine where this problem is not occuring. Even trying sh (command) doesn't work. Any ideas? Any things I should be checking?? -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/

What commands have you tried and how does your $PATH variable look like? Does it work if you lauch the programs using the full pathname? Check to see if the command has 'x' permission. That's bitten me a few times.
