Hi, I followed the SuSE HowTo to enable my AWE64, PnP. It seems to be awakened with pnpdump and isapnp after editing isapnp.conf file. But, when I try:

cat /dev/sndstat i get a msg like "operation not supported by the device"

where is the error? (sound compiled as module with auto loading and so on...) is not there a definitive source to avoid asking alwys the same things or wandering on hundreds of howto abit uncomplete?
