Hello all, Well, after long struggles I finally seem to've been able to fix my problems with my EPoX 8k8A motherboard (VIA KT400 chipset). Having unsuccessfully tried to get a running SuSE 2.4.19-135 kernel for quite some time, I decided to give the vanilla kernels a try. It may have taken some time (and some modules.conf changes!), but I now not only have my chipset detected, but my RAID controller is also detected (I'll try another RAID configuration sometime soon and let you know how it turns out), and I've managed to get 4 speaker support for my SB Live! Needless to say that I'm one happy person for now. :) Thanx to all who supplied me with tips and advice. Regards, Pieter Hulshoff
