Hi. I have SuSE 9.0 Professional. It was upgraded from 8.2 Pro several months ago. Everything was fine until now.
When I wanted to install updates and patches via Yast Online Update (YOU) I discovered, that it thinks I have version 8.2.

Does anyone know what's wrong?
(Harmut:) The support database does:

I don't think it's my case.

PS I think that problem appeared after I added 8.2 DVD as an installation source.
As the Mother said to the children with beans in their ears: "Why did you do that" So I am asking "why did you add the 8.2 DVD as an installation source ??? Because I think it undid your 9.0 install.. at least the part whre YOU gets its info. So you need to redo "the install." No not everything, but the part where it asks for your installation source. That is what I get out of Hartmut's comment. Hope this helps, Gar. PS You can still use the 8.2 source rpms just mount the DVD via Konq or Gnome, or via the CL. -- __________________________________________________________________ Introducing the New Netscape Internet Service. I wanted to install some source packages (don't remember exactly). I read someone mentioning rpm gpg pubkeys. Does YOU use them? AFAIK after fresh system install SuSE executes once a "new system script" and generates these pubkeys. How can I reproduce it? And I stilll can't understand why gui version of YOU uses version 8.2 and the cl tool online_update thinks I have 8.1 (I never installed 8.1).
I just had to remove everything in /var/adm/YaST/ProdDB except prod_00000001 with SuSE 9.0 description. Thanks everyone for help.
