Yes, I had required xdevel libs for a number of programs. The Xlib.h, Xutil.h and Xatom.h are located in the xdevel package. HINT: Yast is good at finding the answer to this. yast - Adj of installation - mount the CD choose/install packages then package information (select Search install media) then in search line enter Xlib Finally, I have something GOOD to say about YaST. Here's the process according to the README for xtuner.
wdm:/home/deem/xtuner # xmkmf mv -f Makefile Makefile.bak imake -DUseInstalled -I/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/config wdm:/home/deem/xtuner # make xtuner gcc -O2 -m486 -c xtuner.c -o xtuner.o In file included from xtuner.h:17, from xtuner.c:12: /usr/include/forms.h:968: X11/Xlib.h: No such file or directory /usr/include/forms.h:969: X11/Xutil.h: No such file or directory /usr/include/forms.h:970: X11/Xatom.h: No such file or directory /usr/include/forms.h:971: X11/keysym.h: No such file or directory /usr/include/forms.h:972: X11/Xresource.h: No such file or directory /usr/include/forms.h:2138: X11/cursorfont.h: No such file or directory In file included from xtuner.c:12: xtuner.h:21: X11/xpm.h: No such file or directory xtuner.h:22: X11/Xlib.h: No such file or directory xtuner.h:23: X11/Xutil.h: No such file or directory xtuner.h:24: X11/Xresource.h: No such file or directory make: *** [xtuner.o] Error 1
My sys has :
# locate libforms.a /home/deem/xforms/FORMS/libforms.a /usr/lib/libforms.a
and
/usr/include/forms.h
Just wondering what the issue is ? Anyone got an idea on what's missing here ?
Thanks Dee
