Good day to everybody ! I have noticed the following behaviour of my mouse cursor with all versions of SuSE Linux I have used, upto the present one 7.0.: On entering the graphical login screen, the cursor appears as an X when on the desktop area outside the dialog box. Thereafter, on starting KDE the mouse cursor changes to an arrow when on an empty area of the desktop. I would prefer to have it remain as an X in this case and would like to know the script file location where I can change this behaviour. Reason for this is because the X form is easier to spot on the desktop - the arrow seems to disappear very easily and seems to hide itself in an odd corner. Would someone please tell me how? Another minor annoyance is that when logging out and selecting 'shutdown' on selecting the <OK> button it should suffice to press the <Enter> key, but nothing happens then. It only seems to recognize a mouse clicks ! However can tolerate this minor lapse - still think SuSE is the best Linux version I have come across. Bye now
