running suse 7.2, kernel 2.4.16, kde 2.1.2, matrox g200 video card and sony cpd-200es monitor. I recently updated xserver from 4.0.3 to 4.1.0. then I was not able to kill xserver using cntrl+alt+backspace or switch to text console using cntrl+alt+F1. As I was running xvidtune utility from root console, I got a message on the console saying "X connection to: 0.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown)". If anyone would know what this message means and how to resolve it. thanks in advance.
