Greetings, While on redhat we had a time editing the main.cf and master.cf files for spamassisin and amavis, I see an option to enable amavis in yast, when enabled no mail gets delivered. Is enambling and starting spamd enough or must I configure postifix to use it? Chadley

Postfix should be configured by yast already to start the necessary services. It might be necessary though to reboot the server or start all services manually. Suse uses amavisd-new to filter content and amavisd-new will call up spamassassin and the antivirus you configure to scan the mails. So you need to check that amavis is running (usually on 127.0.0.1:10024) and that amavis itself is configured to use spamassassin and antivirus software of your choice (clam-av, antivir ...).
