I use anomy sanitizer (not included with 8.1, but you can get it from mailtools.anomy.net). It can do a lot of generic things with attached files, even if you don't have a virus scanner (i.e. regardless my antivirus not detect that a file is infected, executable files are renamed anyway, active content in html is disabled, and things like that). Of course, several antivirus for linux have included some sort of mail scanning (panda, avp, rav, etc) if you don't want to call an script to do call it, but I want to decide what to do when virus are found, and when not, so with scripts I have a bit more of flexibility. Hi! I've installed gnupg-1.2.1 I can execute the 'gpg' command shown below in console mode, both as 'root' or 'httpd'. My webserver runs as 'httpd'. I have a PHP file running the same 'gpg' command and ... it does not work! To be sure, I ran another command ('who') through PHP, writing to same directory as 'gpg', and this one worked! I'm at a loss here. Any idea what I am doing wrong? // Command = /usr/bin/who > /home/tmp/pgp-who Result Code = 0 // Command = /usr/local/bin/gpg -a --recipient 'Ici Londres' --encrypt -o /home/tmp/pgpadvert.asc /home/tmp/pgpadvert Result Code = 2 // TIA Lao Toma

Addendum: When run in consile mode I get some warning messages, but the command does generate the encrypted file: Command: /usr/local/bin/gpg -a --recipient 'Ici Londres' --encrypt -o /home/tmp/pgpadvert.asc /home/tmp/pgpadvert Messages: gpg: WARNING: using insecure memory! gpg: please see http://www.gnupg.org/faq.html for more information TIA Lao Toma -----Original Message----- From: LaoToma [mailto:laotoma@minangel.com] Sent: Friday, December 13, 2002 4:05 AM To: 'SuSE Linux-e' Subject: [SLE] PHP / GPG Hi!
