I'm puzzled. I have multiple CentOS5, CentOS6, openSUSE 11.4 and openSUSE 12.1 boxes behind the same firewall. The CentOS boxes can make FTP connections; but attempting to use FTP from either version of openSUSE always fails [two 12.1 boxes, one 11.4 boxes]. I've disabled the local machine firewalls, verfified the conntrack_ftp module is loaded on the network's firewall [an iptables box, and the other CentOS boxes work anyway...], etc... I just can get FTP to work from these boxes and I'm stumped.
