[opensuse] Leap 42.3, zypper "failed to cache repo"(3)
I am getting this error on all repos. Is this a connection issue or a database corruption? I found the PC had a faulty cmos battery and lost date/time. I did reset this, but need to overcome this problem. Any suggestion? Also "local services, volatile file system, hostfile" fail during startup. So you dropout to a prompt (but not the rescue one). Data on home seem to be OK. _________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________ Ihre E-Mail-Postfcher sicher & zentral an einem Ort. This sounds like some filesystem that couldn't be mounted. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (24.7°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - free dynamic DNS, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

This sounds like some filesystem that couldn't be mounted. Maybe it is the ssd with ext4...? I tried to upgrade. It sees two times a OS on sda2 and sda6. Now.... how could I know on which partition I am? The lack of size indication is really an issue with the installer.

Once you get the dracut emergency shell, you ought to be able to tell what state the system is in - what was mounted etc. If that isn't enough, I would boot a rescue system and investigate. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (26.8°C) http://www.cloudsuisse.com/ - your owncloud, hosted in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
