[SLE] Help- recommend a multiple processors motherboard pls
Hello, It would be nice is someone could recommend a good dual slot1 motherboard that can take two Celerons on slotkets. Tks very much. I have a Gigabyte GA-6BXD, with dual PIII 450's this works well with SuSE 6.3 I haven't tried 6.4 yet. Although my Gigabyte Super Socket 7 Motherboard with a single AMD K6II/450 actually runs faster! that's if you believe the BOGO Mips rating, which is only an indication of performance. David Bottrill

I have a GA-6bxd running Dual PII 400's with SuSE 6.4. Works perfectly. I haven't tried 6.4 yet. Although my Gigabyte Super Socket 7 Motherboard

Is BOGO Mips a rating that can check for two processors running (multi-threaded)? I guess I would find one AMD faster than one PIII, but not two. :-) Stuart
