Did this turn on - and stay on - with an update ?
How do I disable this - or - keep my desktop icons from moving ?
Thanks, Duaine

I checked my other systems and the "keep aligned" is checked. Which is ok - but - no matter where I place the icons, after I logout or reboot, the icons have moved. What is happening ? Thanks, Duaine On 07/28/2011 12:31 AM, Duaine Hechler wrote:

You keep top-posting and refuse to learn to follow the simple rules of this list and common netiquette? -- "Properly read, the Bible is the most potent force for atheism ever conceived." -Isaac Asimov -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Then don't answer. It is that simple. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

No, dipwad, it's not that simple. The rules are there for reasons, and apparently you're too stupid to understand them and why. -- "Properly read, the Bible is the most potent force for atheism ever conceived." -Isaac Asimov -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I am sure that Rajko is far too much a gentleman than to respond to you in a manner appropriate to your message. If your style is the result of insomnia as you hint, you need to seek medical help for the problem, as well as the patience to avoid contact with humans before you find a solution. You can't be as enthusiastic as you pretend about sticking to rules; there are definite rules about what you have written. Hopefully, a way will be found to prevent you permanently from repeating your performance. -- Stan Goodman Qiryat Tiv'on Israel -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Besides rules about rude behavior, there is one that we consider very important and it is written on the top of: http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Mailing_list_netiquette "It is pointless to post an email that only warns about posting style ..." It was created to make good people aware that good intention to keep order on the list actually undercuts our efforts to have more people using openSUSE, and so far I can say that works with them. The only remain problem are few that don't read rules, but assume that their opinion should be rule for other. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Perhaps we should add when answering problem posts and/or requests for help that further discussion is dependent upon the op adopting the list_netiquette. After all, when visiting someone's house you do not smoke if they don't allow it, at least you shouldn't if you expect to return. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I'll rather keep it as is. Netiquette is already an hour (or more) of reading, so there is a little chance that will be consumed before asking for help. One pointer to netiquette should suffice, and if someone ignores that, then it is up to the helper to decide how to proceed. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
