Hi, I am trying to net boot my ultrasparc using a suse7.3 version. The problem is that the linux kernel gets loaded but not the root file system even after setting the NFS persmissions in the /etc/exports file. There is another method given using the initrd. I am laying my hands on it , but the problem is that i have to use mknbi command for tagging the initrd with it. And when i use the commnad mknbi-linux zImage.......as given in the doc provided with suse , zImage is not identified as linux kernel image. My question is : how do we get zImage out of vmlinuz64..since what i am sending to my client is a.out created after running a utility elftoaout on unzipped vmlinuz64. - the kernel on the client gives a message Kenrel Panic : cannot find the root and i wish to scream.
