[opensuse] kde 4.1 remove desktop
I had a lot of fun in creating some desktops, standard and fileview. At the i would remove some of my experimental desktops. But I can't find a remove desktop feature. Where to find it or how can I remove a desktop ? Thanks, Hans -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I suspect, you mean activities, not desktops... Look at http://userbase.kde.org/Plasma/4.1#How_can_I_add.2Fremove_an_activity.3F Herbert -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Herbert You are right the correct term is activity. reading the above tells me:
Removing an activity: Zoom out from your current desktop view, make sure it's not the current activity (otherwise select another one), then right-click on the activity you want to remove and choose the appropriate option. Note: You must Unlock Widgets (Ctrl+L) before you can remove any activities. But there is no option "remove", thats the problem (with unlocked widgets). If I rightclick on the activity (zoomed in or not) I get a list with the following options: create new > paste clipboard icons > refresh desktop Folderview settings desktop settings. Thats all , no remove activity or remove desktop. Still open the question: "Where to find it or how can I remove a desktop (activity)?" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
