There should be. If your at all comfortable at the command line, please send the output from "zypper lr -d" For me its: ====

Specifically note the last repo in my list: http://download.opensuse.org/update/11.4/ You should have http://download.opensuse.org/update/11.3/ You should get all the "security" updates from there. If you want to do a full distro update to 11.4 (released today), then its a little more complex. For a english only speaker, that's a strange name for the update repo, but it looks fine. Can you try: zypper pa | grep Aktualizacja That should give you a list of all packages in that repo regardless of if they are installed or not. Alternatively, gor a more gui experience you should be able to run "you" from the command line, click on "view" - "repositories" and then select the Aktualizacja repo. It should show you all packages as well, but it will show if they have been installed or not. Are either of those working correctly? good question. Anyone else. I've not seen a situation where zypper seems to be set up correctly but you fails. guessing from here on === I would try to fire up the yast gui. Select "software repositories". Delete the current "Aktualizacja" repo. then click Add - Community Repositories Then look for "Main update repository" (or you languages equivalent) And add it back in. Then from the yast main menu click on "software management" Then click view - repositories And see if you can see the files in the repo from yast. If so, go ahead back to the yast main menu and try a online update. HTH Greg -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Yup, that's what I asked for. Problem is I do not speak Polish. I presume, "Brak zadań." means "Nothing to do." Based on your configured repositories there are no updated packages. Did you run "online update" during your installation two weeks ago?

During the guided installation you have the option to update the system with the latest packages. If you did this the latest packages available at the time of install were already installed. You do have the updates repository configure, thus everything is probably OK. On an up to date box "uname -r" should return 2.6.34.7-0.7-KERNEL_FLAVOR where KERNEL_FLAVOR is "desktop" or "default", depending on the booted kernel. The kernel shipped with openSUSE 11.3 at release was 2.6.34-12.3 also run "rpm -qa | grep kernel" Robert
