Greetings I tryed to configure the OPTi 82C931 sound card through YasT2 and alsaconf, but I get errors messages from boths. Below is the alsaconf error messages: "Loading driver: Starting sound driver: snd-card-opti93x alsactl: Cannot open configuration file '/etc/asound.conf' ... /lib/modules/2.2.16/misc/snd.o: post-install snd failed /lib/modules/2.2.16/misc/snd.o insmod snd-card-opti93x failed No mixer config in /etc/asound.conf, you have to unmute your card! Setting the PCM volume to 100% and the Master output volume to 80% The ALSA sound driver was not detected in this system Could no initialize the mixer, the card was propably not detected correctly." I'm using SuSE 7.0 Professional. Obs: First, I tryed with the ALSA that came in SuSE CD, after I tryed with the ALSA that I get on SuSE 7.0 Update on SuSE Site. Boths the cases generate the error messages under. Thanks in advance, for any help.
