With 10.2 having activitieson any drive (fail, remve, add) was emailing to root. Now, with 10.3, I d'nt get anything. There is any setup somewhere to have mdadm send an email in case of problem. Same as 10.2. It is in /etc/sysconfig/mdadm MDADM_MAIL and perhaps MDADM_SEND_MAIL_ON_START, also reachable via Yast2 /etc/sysconfig Editor. These both assume you have mdadm running in monitor mode, which is most easily done via Yast2 Runlevel Editor. -- Joe Morris Registered Linux user 231871 running openSUSE 10.3 x86_64 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
