Hi JIM!
I think you should get the remote control of your CD player, look for the button that says 'random' or 'shuffle' and press it.
Or did not mean a CD player?
Maybe you can tell us what you're playing it in/on etc... :)
Regards,
Arthur

Hi all,
When I start a play list it will only play random, I would like to set it to play 1,2,3 etc. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks,

Hi Jim, http://beranger.zoom.ro/misc/beepmediaplayer1.png See the 'shuffle' option in this picture? Find that, switch it to off. James, you probably did this already, but IIRC, beep has a place on the interface to set random , play list etc.( I've gone brain dead and can't remember a decent word for " play in order listed" < Heavy Sigh..> one of the problems I had w/ beep was it's nearly infinitesimal size ... made it hard to find the spot on the gui to setup the darned thing.. I don't have it on the lappy I'm using so I can't just look at it. I *do* know I spent some time swearing at it when I had it on my testbed.. a lot. ;D FWIW, the swearing/cussing and threats to delete the program did no good at all ;/ So you might want to look at be sure there isn't a config wizard where you can make these choices. Beep s small footprint is good for a lappy, *IF* you are young enough to see it! ;) Hope this helps -- j -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
