Hi list, using a small suse 7.0 pro router here, and I am a bit puzzled and would like to hear your ideas: I had the router work so that when I entered ping www.gmx.de the router isdn-dialled out and got into the internet, resolving the address. Now I have changed something which I do not remember, and when I enter the same command, the router does no more dial out even though ippp0 is configured to auto dial mode as before. named says it is running (brings back "OK" on status request) The joke is that everything works, when I manually dial out using isdnctrl dial ippp0 - I can then even use the basic routing using ipchains from a windoze computer. But it does not work AUTOMATICALLY as it is supposed to. Where shall I start searching?
