SuSE 8.2 / Firewall / DHCPD not giving IP's
Hi, I am building a firewall system for my DSL connection at home. I have taken 8.2 and setup SuSE Firewall2 on the system (pretty much blocking everything from the outside and doing masquerading for the internal network. I notice that if I set eth1 to be the internal interface in the firewall IP addresses are not issued to clients. If I reverse this in the firewall all works well. Is there any way to have DHCPD listen on eth1 instead? Thanks, John

Edit '/etc/sysconfig/dhcpd' and set 'DHCPD_INTERFACE="eth1"'. Then type 'rcdhcpd restart'. - -- James Oakley Engineering - SolutionInc Ltd. joakley@solutioninc.com http://www.solutioninc.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+sRj7+FOexA3koIgRAqBWAJ4ozGTXo8mwpJVrUxZGWk88x/fF1gCeK5Pw UGxN6RLp7QF3q2vMn7vU9zY= =1bvv -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
