[opensuse] Enabling firewall ports on the command line
As an example, let's use Apache... If I want to open the port on the firewall in Yast, I would simply go into httpd and check the open firewall option. How can I do this similarly on the command line without going into Yast? -- ---Bryen--- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Edit /etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2 then run rcSuSEfirewall2 reload -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Run: SuSEfirewall2 help which will point you to: SuSEfirewall2 open <arguments> Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
