Hi, Gunnar: Why on earth would you want XP anywhere near your computer? Tom
Here's a rule breaker: You have to have Windows on the first partition of the first drive or nothing will work right. That is if your going to use the default bootloader for a Windows OS or Lilo. /end of rule breaker ;) * GunnarH (gunnar.haland@c2i.net) [020204 22:24]: ->I have innstalled XP on my computer and want my SuSE 7.3 on it to, but SuSE ->can not resize my D disk. ->It is some kluster error of some kind. ->What to do????? ->Gunnar -> -> ->-- ->To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com ->For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com ->Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq and the ->archives at http://lists.suse.com -> -----=====-----=====-----=====-----=====----- Ben Rosenberg mailto:ben@whack.org -----=====-----=====-----=====-----=====----- "I've never been quarantined. Dear Gunnar, The safest and most quic bet would be to use something like Partition magic 7 to resize your hdd and create a swap and linux partition. I had similar difficulties with the Suse install not being able to provide me with a solution Regards, Josef
