How to assign a keyboard shortcut to each keyboard
I use at least four keyboards -- US normal, US international, Indian Devanagari and Indian Tamil. I would like to assign keyboard shortcuts to each of these individually so while typing US normal I can shift to US international without reaching for the mouse. Back in Windows where I use Keyman (http://tavultesoft.com) I have this facility. Please tell me how I can assign individual shortcuts. The KDE Control Center Keyboard Layout dialog has some stuff called Switching Options and Xkb options but they do not seem to contain what I want. Thank you. -- Tux #395953 resides at http://samvit.org playing with KDE 3.51 on SUSE Linux 10.0 $ date [] CCE +2006-02-10 W06-5 UTC+0530

Regional&Accessibility/Keyboard Shortcuts/Shortcut schemes/global shortcuts. The default KDE combination to switch to the next keyboard layout is ctrl-alt-k.
I thought it was possible to choose key combinations, just as in Windows, to switch to a specific layout, but can't find such a thing anywhere in the KDE control center, Sax, or Yast.

Thank you very much. It seems I was too blind, because I found this feature on my old computer in the past. I set it as I wanted and I forgot where it was. And now I have bought new PC ... TRoland.
