I use SuSE 9.1 professional edition and windows xp in my machine, and i use 256 mb RAM on Intel Pentium III 650 MHZ...kde is my desktop environment i got little bit trouble when i login as root into KDE...it seam that slower than i login with reguler user... did anybody know what's happen? and how to "tweak" my KDE so it can be more fast thx before _______________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Best not to log in as root at all. Use su or sudo instead. Cheers Fergus

You can tweak some of the settings by opening Control Centre -> KDE Components -> Service Manager Cheers
